The Radiators

The Radiators debuted late in 1978. Their first album Feel the Heat was released late in 1979 and by March 1980 it had achieved platinum status. Their best known songs include ‘Coming Home’ and ‘No Tragedy.’ Songs such as ‘Gimme Head’ illustrate why The Radiators’ lyrics were sometimes a little R-rated for Countdown audiences.
The Original Band Members are; Brian Nichol - Vocals, Fess Parker - Lead Guitar, Geoff Turner - Bass Guitar, Chris Tag - Drums, Brendan Callinan - Keyboards. Nichol, Parker and Turner continue to tour throughout Australia.
The Radiators appeared in the Countdown Spectacular 2 concert series where they performed 2 songs including the favourite ‘Coming Home’.
