Molly Meldrum has shown some improvement after a fall in his Melbourne home. He has now been transferred to rehab.

Countdown hosted some true rock divas in its time. One of the greatest was undoubtedly Divinyls’ Chrissy Amphlett, and her incredible 1981 Countdown performance of ‘Boys in Town’. Check out Chrissy strutting her stuff in that schoolgirl outfit.
Blondie, Cyndi Lauper and Kim Wilde were some of the other mighty women who rocked Countdown...anyone else you think was right up there?

Women Who Rocked
So many to choose from, and guess all walks of music could be covered, but for me under the banner "Rock" would be Suzi Quatro. Always been my number one singer, and luck enough to meet her last year, so yeah, heaps others, but Suzi for sure. Classic episode is her and John Farnham, co-hosting. Two very down to earth people and such a classic episode.
