Some of the great albums that come to mind:
Body And The Beat - Dragon
The Swing - INXS
Love Over Gold - Dire Straits
Back In Black - ACDC
Thriller - Michael Jackson
Private Dancer - Tina Turner
Tattoo You - Rolling Stones
The Game - Queen
Milk And Honey - John Lennon
She's So Unusual - Cyndi Lauper
And then I could Get Into The Various Artists Albums, but that could be too big of a list.
Here are some of my favourites:
Duran Duran Rio
Con Jovi Slippery When Wet
U2 The Unforgettable Fire
INXS Kick
Madonna Madonna (The First Album)
Michael Jackson Thriller
Prince Purple Rain
The Police Syncronicity
The Clash London Calling
Van Halen 1984
Culture Club Colour By Numbers
Times Square Soundtrack
AC/DC Back in Black
John Lennon Double Fantasy
Many many more. I could literally go on an on..... To me the 80's is the best decade in music. Nothing has topped it and will top it.
Without thinking about it, it would have to be "Dare" by the Human League, great sound, great artwork, just a whole package. Of course there are many fav albums from the 1980's for sure.
I was as to list my all-time 16 fav albums, last year and could originally hit fifteen, but then recently revisited the list and ended up with twenty. Of those twenty, nine are from the 1980's.
so here are the other eight, in no particular order.
The Big Blue - Soundtrack.
No Man's Land - Lene Lovich.
Hounds of Love - Kate Bush.
The Colour of Spring - Talk Talk.
The Walking - Jane Siberry.
Rendezvous - Jean Michel Jarre.
Magical Ring - Clannad.
Naked - Kissing the Pink.
Again,a lot of fave albums from one decade(the 80's in this case)but these 2 share equal first-
Gossip-Paul Kelly & The Coloured Girls
Stoneage Romeos-Hoodoo Gurus
