ABC Countdown’s “Mega Molly Moments” Competition
Terms and Conditions
This document sets out the terms of participation in ABC Countdown’s “Mega Molly Moments” Competition (“the Competition”).
1. The Promoter of this Competition is the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, ABN 52 429 278 345 of 700 Harris Street, Ultimo NSW 2000.
2. Entry is open to all Australian residents. Entrants under 18 years of age need to have the consent of their parent or guardian to enter.
3. Employees of the ABC and Liberation or any person associated with the Competition and their immediate families are not eligible to enter, or any organisation or individual associated with the provision of prize(s) are not eligible to enter.
4. The Competition opens at 10am AEST on Thursday 24th July 2008 and closes at 6pm AEST on Wednesday 27th August 2008 (“Competition Period”). Any entry received after the expiry of the Competition Period will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.

6. The entrant whose Entry is judged by the Promoter’s panel of judges to be the best, most original and creative will win a prize (“Prize Winner”). Chance plays no part in determining the Prize Winner. Entries will be judged on 28th August 2008at Level 9, 700 Harris Street Ultimo NSW.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. The Promoter may in their absolute discretion require that the individual provide photographic identification or some other acceptable form of identification or proof of age before awarding the prize. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Each prize winner will receive a “Countdown Mega Pack (“the prize”). Each prize will contain;1 x “One Hit Wonders” CD/DVD, 1 x “Countdown Wonder Years” CD, 1 x “Countdown Spectacular Live 2” CD and 1x “Countdown Spectacular Live 2” DVD. Each Countdown Mega Pack is valued at $147.80 (including GST) with a total prize pool value of $443.40 (inc GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. No component of the prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash. In the event that any of the prizes become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product or the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation,
9. Prize winners will be notified by email within four (4) working days of the judging date of the competition. The ABC shall deliver prizes within fourteen (14) working days of receiving notification from each winner of the address for delivery of the prize. The Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit. The winners name will be published on www.countdown.com.au in the Countdown competition section.
10. In the event that a winner of the prize is unable to be contacted, the Promoter will retain the prize for seven (7) days from the date of judging If any prize is not claimed within seven (7) days of the judging date, the judges may determine another winner for the unclaimed prize.
11. If there is any event which prevents or hinders the Promoter’s conduct of the Competition or the Promoter’s ability to deliver prizes to the winners of the Competition, then the Promoter may in its discretion, cancel the Competition and recommence it under the same conditions or choose another winner, subject to any directions given by the various State or Territory lottery departments.
12. By entering, entrants agree that the Promoter, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, and their respective officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for injury, loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this promotion or from the acceptance or use/misuse of the prize awarded. This includes, without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
13. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
14. Each entrant agrees that the Promoter may use any personal details provided in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Promoter. The personal details of the Entrant may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winner’s names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
