this is where the love affair started with a-ha, I remember watching them on Countdown when I was about 13 and I was gone, so much so that in 2000 I went to Norway and saw them in concert, sad some might say but a childhood dream came true and it felt amazing!

A-Ha’s first single ‘Take on Me’ took three times to become a hit in the UK, eventually hitting #2 in November 1985, and going one better in the U.S. The song’s award-winning video is credited for its success. Who could forget that sketch animation/live-action video?

Oh wow! How I love this site! They may have been just a one-hit wonder, but I proudly admit I went to their concert at the Melbourne Concert Hall and I still play their cd!

a-ha are No one hit wonder. They have 9 albums and are popular in Norway,UK,Germany,Italy,Brazil etc. Saw them on tV in 85 but unfortunately they were not given enough air play in Aust. so didnt realise they were still together. Just re-discovered them in 2010 and found that they are finally splitting up for good. Thought i wouldnt like some of their music but as i listen each song grows on me. Music is different and interesting - a good listen and fascinating to catch up on all the gossip of their lives over the years that I missed out on seeing them or hearing their music. Any more vids or photos of a-ha from countdown?
