If this vid is from 1979 then Molly must be referring to the "The Idiot" tour that Iggy did in '77 with David Bowie. Iggy played 2 gigs in Detroit on that tour at the Sonic Auditorium venue. I geuss if you were to see any of his gigs then a home town one in Detroit would have been the one go see. Molly sure got around.
