Australian rockers Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons started out with a saxophone-driven R&B sound, but by the time ‘Hit and Run’ came out in 1979, the band’s sound had veered towards pop reggae. The new direction worked – ‘Hit and Run’ reached #12 on the charts and launched the band’s international career.
